An exhilarating cooking lesson focuses on two of the most iconic sweets in Sicilian culinary tradition, both prepared with sheep's ricotta.

The King: the cannoli, with its crispy shell and soft filling, has a legendary history. Created within the harem of the sultan of Caltanissetta by his concubines, who wanted to pay tribute to their sovereign's phallic symbol, this sweet has been passed down through the centuries, making its way through the convents of nuns.

Its Subjects: raviolini made with the same dough as the "scoccia" of cannoli, but filled with ricotta.
