In Sciacca, Italy’s 4th port for its fleet size and its catch quantity, what is the best way to learn about its sea history? In our opinion, the best way is to be accompanied by a family which for four generations has worked with our sea brilliant blue fish.
With them you will discover how their life follows the sea and nature’s rhythm and how the fish is processed, salted and preserved to allow you to taste Sicily through each anchovy fillet.
To accompany you on this journey, in addition to the Curreri family, all those women and men who have been doing this job all their lives will also be with you.
