Mount Kronio with its hot air strong currents is the place where perhaps Icarus, the Daedalus' son, fell due to the melting of the wax that held the feathers together and formed his wings. It is a less famous version of the legend of Icarus.
His father Daedalus, a famous Athenian architect who had built Crete labyrinth offor King Minos, instead landed safe and sound among these hills. And here, with his ingenuity, he created spas to channel the sulphurous vapours with legendary therapeutic properties.
A legendary healing experience that you too can try among vapours, landscapes and Mediterranean plants discovery.
