Friscaletto is a Sicilian folk tradition cane zufolo (fipple flute).
In addition to being part of the folk music instruments, it was also a pastime for shepherds. Firstly, they used the canes they found along the pastures to build them and then killed time by playing it.
This experience will allow you to participate in the construction of a Friscaletto. You will have a chance to customize it and to learn how to play some typical songs. Together with you will be Vito, a young man who through self-education has learned to build and play the Friscaletto.
