We are a "Museo Diffuso," which means that Sciacca itself is our open-air museum. Here, every element of the city, including its people with their stories, represents our priceless treasure, ready to be shared with anyone who comes to visit us.

We are a "Museo Diffuso," which means that Sciacca itself is our open-air museum. Here, every element of the city, including its people with their stories, represents our priceless treasure, ready to be shared with anyone who comes to visit us.
The five gates of the ancient walls serve as entrances to the museum, the streets are the corridors, the squares are the exhibition halls, and the shop windows and house windows are the display cases through which we offer our greatest treasure: our identity.
Three thousand years of history, cultures, and traditions await discovery in the frieze of a palace, in the taste of a dish, in the timeless myths, and in the creations of master artisans. Lose yourself in the colors, aromas, and sounds that express our identity.

How to Get to Sciacca

AIRPLANE
The main airport serving tourist traffic to and from Sciacca is Palermo Airport. The terminal is located about 110 km from the center of Sciacca and is easily accessible via the motorway. The “Falcone–Borsellino” Airport offers daily arrivals and departures to and from major Italian and international destinations. Once you exit the terminal, to reach Sciacca you need to take the A29 motorway in the direction of Mazara del Vallo, exit at Castelvetrano, and then continue along the SS 115 toward Agrigento.
SHIP
The main port serving tourist traffic to and from Sciacca is the Port of Palermo. It is easily accessible either via the motorway (just 140 km) or via the state road (only 90 km of smooth driving). The Port of Palermo offers daily departures and arrivals staggered throughout the day, from morning to evening. From here, both passengers and vehicles can board for various destinations such as Naples and Genoa, using either traditional long-distance ferries or modern hydrofoils, which take just 4 hours to travel between Naples and Palermo (and vice versa).

BUS
Sciacca is well connected to the main Sicilian cities with airports, thanks to a network of bus services that make traveling convenient and straightforward.
If you land at Falcone e Borsellino Airport (Palermo), you can reach Sciacca with Autolinee Gallo, which offers direct routes both from the airport and from the bus terminal near Palermo’s central train station. Autolinee Lumia also provides regular, direct services between Palermo and Sciacca, ensuring a comfortable journey.
For those arriving at Trapani-Birgi Airport, you can take an Autoservizi Salemi bus to Palermo, and from there continue on to Sciacca with Autolinee Gallo or Lumia. This combination is ideal for a smooth and stress-free trip.
From Fontanarossa Airport (Catania), you can travel to Palermo with a SAIS Autolinee bus. Once in Palermo, it’s easy to continue your journey to Sciacca with services operated by Gallo or Lumia.
CAR
Reaching Sciacca is easy, even for those who enjoy traveling by car, camper, or caravan—or for those who choose to arrive by sea without giving up their vehicle.
From Palermo, take the A29 motorway towards Mazara del Vallo, exit at Castelvetrano, then continue on the SS 115 towards Agrigento.
From Messina, take the A18 motorway (ME–CT), then continue on the A19 (CT–PA) and exit at Caltanissetta. From there, take the SS 122 to Agrigento and continue on the SS 115 towards Sciacca.
